Most people in tech are either builders or managers. I've been both, and I think that's what makes the difference.
I did a PhD in AI and Robotics when nobody was hiring for it. I led data science teams at Telefónica when everybody wanted one. And I built FITIZENS from scratch when I needed to prove to myself I could still write code and ship a product, not just talk about it.
FITIZENS is an AI video coach for athletes. We built it from the ground up: Flutter app, Python backend, ML pipeline, AI agent system. Two cofounders, zero external developers, zero external funding. NPS 56. Real users, real feedback.
I also teach at IE Business School: AI strategy for executives, app development for undergrads. Turns out the hardest part of AI isn't the algorithm. It's getting everyone else to understand why it matters.
